Whether you are an absolute
beginner or an experienced
certified diver, the warm, crystal clear
waters off the coast of Oludeniz offer a
fascinating variety of diving sites, from calm
shallow reefs to caverns, walls and tunnels.
Within just a short distance from LykiaWorld's
diving centre you can dive through shoals of
yellowtails at Freshwater Springs, explore the
fascinating Blue Cave, or investigate one of
several local ship wrecks. Marine life is abundant
with octopus, grouper, tuna, morays, trigger fish,
lobsters and sea horses making regular
appearances across the various dive sites.
LykiaWorld is PADI-authorised and its
friendly and experienced instructors speak
excellent English and have a wealth of local
knowledge. Dives are arranged using fully
equipped boats.
The diving centre offers a range of diving
packages, which can be pre-booked through
Cachet Travel. For beginners there are courses
ranging from 1-day introductions to full PADI
Open Water certification, whilst more
experienced divers can join speciality dives -
including ship wreck safaris - or build on their
existing skills to achieve advanced certifications.
Pickups can be arranged from Oludeniz or the Montana Pine Resort.
Courses for beginners
Try Dive - £33 per person
This is an introduction to diving in a relaxed and fun atmosphere for anyone over the age of 8 who is reasonably fit. It is not part of a qualification course. After a short introduction to the equipment and the basic rules of diving, your instructor will help you kit up and take you for a gentle, shallow dive (max. 5 metres, 2 metres for children). This is particularly suitable for families and they will receive photos and certificates.
PADI Kids Bubble Maker - £22 per child
Bubble Maker is a special programme for children from 8 years onwards. Diving takes place in confined waters, in a maximum of 2 metres, where children get a taste for the sport and make bubbles.
Discover Scuba Diving (1 day) - £65
This is designed for anyone over the age of 10 who want to try their hand at Scuba Diving. You start in the pool learning how the equipment works and how to dive, then put your new skills into action amongst the fish.
