Apartments Oasis San Antonio

Situated at the southern end of the small resort of Los Cancajos, Oasis San Antonio is an attractively designed complex, offering practical and reasonably priced self-catering accommodation for guests not wishing to have to rely on a hire car. Separated from the seafront by a local road and another well-designed apartment complex, the apartments are just over 100 metres from the rocky shore, and roughly 500 metres from the black sand beach for which Playa de los Cancajos is renowned.

Oasis San Antonio comprises 68 apartments, which are spread across three two-storey buildings enclosing a prettily landscaped central garden. The buildings were designed to reflect the architectural traditions of the island, with sash windows, wooden balconies, pan-tiled roofs and mellow colourwashes.

Inside, the apartments are attractively furnished and decorated, and come equipped with direct dial telephones, safety deposit boxes and satellite TV. Each comprises a living room with a sofa bed for the third person; an open-plan kitchenette with two electric rings, an extractor fan and a small fridge; a separate bedroom with twin beds and built-in wardrobe; and a tiled bathroom with a short bathtub, basin, bidet and WC. Upper floor apartments have balconies, whilst those on the ground floor have terraces.

The nearest bus stop is just 50 metres away, providing a regular link to the island capital, Santa Cruz, which lies just 5 km north from Los Cancajos. Should you decide to visit the city for dinner and miss the last bus, local taxis are easily obtained and relatively inexpensive. Alternatively, Los Cancajos itself boasts a reasonable array of restaurants, as well as a few cafés and bars where you can enjoy a night-cap in convivial atmosphere. The nearest are in the small parade of shops underneath the wing that runs nearest the road; here you will also find a pharmacy, whilst shops for other essentials lie within a five-minute walk from the apartments.

Inside Oasis San Antonios's courtyard garden there is an enticing freshwater swimming pool and a separate paddling pool for young children, bordered by a terrace with sunloungers and umbrellas. There is also a small crazy golf course.

Please note that the swimming pool will be closed for renovation from 01 May to 15 June 2017. Guests may use the pool at the nearby Aparthotel La Caleta during this period.
