Apartments Pablo El Pescador

The Canary IslandsLa Gomera › Valle Gran Rey

Situated in Vueltas close to the harbour, this small family-run property offers apartments with one or two bedrooms

Situated in the heart of Vueltas, the original fishing village and arguably most atmospheric part of Valle Gran Rey, this small, family-run apartment building is well suited for independent-minded holidaymakers wishing to stay in authentic surroundings. The fishing harbour and small rocky beach are just 200 metres away, and there's a decent selection of restaurants, a few local bars and small shops for your day-to-day needs in the immediate vicinity. The dark sand beaches of Charco del Conde and Playa are just a little bit further.

Comprising nine apartments, the house of Pablo the Fisherman, as it is known locally, offers simple but practical accommodation. The apartments vary a little in terms of size, layout and outlook, but all have a balcony, most of them looking over the roof-tops of the village to the sea. Each apartment consists of a living room with a sofa-bed and TV (local channels only), an open-plan kitchenette (with a fridge and two-ring hob), a separate bedroom with a double or twin beds, and a bathroom with either a shower or a bath. Some of the apartments have a smaller second bedroom and can thus sleep up to four people.

There is a communal roof-terrace with panoramic views out to sea, which are especially enchanting at sunset.

The apartments are cleaned at the beginning and end of each rental; towels are changed twice a week and sheets are changed once a week.
