Standing in a semi-rural location approximately 300 metres above sea level, these two detached houses offer comfortable accommodation for couples and families alike in a peaceful yet accessible setting with panoramic views. The nearest larger towns from here are San Juan de la Rambla and Icod de los Vinos, but there is a cluster of three unpretentious local restaurants approximately 800 metres from the finca back down towards the main road, so provided that you don't mind the steep uphill walk back after dinner, it is possible to leave the car at home in the evenings and enjoy the local wine with your meal.
Finca La Sorriba consists of two houses, Casa Carmen and Casa Candelaria. Casa Carmen is at the rear and is arranged on two floors, with the ground floor taken up by a comfortable living room (with satellite TV - limited English-language channels), and a kitchen with ceramic hob, microwave, fridge and breakfast bar. Upstairs are two bedrooms (one double and one twin) and a modern shower room. Casa Candelaria stands in front and offers similar accommodation, but all arranged on one floor, so as not to spoil the views from Casa Carmen. Heating is provided in both houses, and each has a good size terrace with a barbecue and patio furniture for alfresco dining.
There is plenty of space around the houses, and ample room for parking. To one side of the houses there is a small, freestanding swimming pool, just right for a refreshing dip after a day spent exploring the countryside on foot or by car, or for cooling off during summer days spent at base, enjoying the ocean views and the serenity of the setting.
Maid service is provided at the beginning and end of each rental period, with sufficient towels and bedding provided for the length of your stay.
