Perched above the sea on the wooded slopes of the rugged Cukurbag peninsula, this small, attractive hotel is blessed with stunning views across the deep, almost fjord-like bay to the imposing mountains of the mainland. This location will primarily suit those who are looking for rest and relaxation in peaceful and scenic surroundings, but access to the town of Kas itself is relatively easy either by using the hotel's shuttle bus service (which operates a few times a day in the peak season and for which a small charge is payable) or by summoning one of the local taxis.
With just 22 rooms, the Club Capa has an appealingly intimate ambience, and it is personally managed by its owners, who together with their friendly and enthusiastic staff work hard to ensure the well-being of their guests. Opportunities to get to know your hosts - and your fellow-holidaymakers - arise in the pretty terrace restaurant, where the lovely views across the bay enhance both breakfast and evening meals, and in one of the three intimate bar areas. One of these is set right by the shore, where the hotel has created platforms for swimming and sunbathing. In this sheltered bay, the sea is usually calm enough for swimming in all but the most inclement of weather, but for less confident swimmers - and for those who simply do not wish to walk down (and back up) the numerous steps - the hotel also offers not just one but two swimming pools halfway down, one with seawater, the other with freshwater. Another small bar is on hand to service these pools, so guests are spoilt for choice when it comes to deciding where to pitch their towel on any given day!
Whilst not huge, the guestrooms are comfortably and prettily furnished. All have balconies (Cachet Travel guests are automatically allocated rooms with sea views), and benefit from air-conditioning, direct-dial telephones, en-suite shower rooms and hairdryers.
Due to its location on a steep hillside, we do not consider Club Capa to be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties or for families with young children.
