Perched on an olive-clad headland just a 5-minute walk from the lovely beach of Limnionas, this attractive building comprises just six apartments designed in classic Aegean style, with distinctive blue doors and shutters providing a colourful contrast to the whitewashed walls. Thanks to this elevated setting, Kapsalis Apartments enjoy splendid sea views, either east across Limnionas Bay to the southern tip of the island, or west across the next bay to the small Fourni Islands.
The setting is perfect for those who enjoy relaxing with a chilled glass of wine, waiting to watch the sunset and listening to the singing of the birds and the chirping of the cicadas in the surrounding olive trees before taking the short stroll down to one of the selection of tavernas in the village.
Inside, the apartments are prettily furnished and decorated. Kapsalis' owner, who lives in Athens, keeps one of the apartments for her own use at weekends and longer stays in the summer. Of the remaining five apartments, three have a bedroom with twin beds, a modern shower room and a separate living room with an open plan kitchenette (with mini-oven) and a sofa that converts into two single beds, making them suitable for families of up to four people (one of these apartments is arranged on two floors, with the bedroom and shower room upstairs and the kitchen/lounge on the lower floor). The other two apartments are similar, but instead of the lounge have a small kitchen/dining room, so these are only suitable for two people and priced accordingly.
A welcome bonus in all the apartments - especially if you are planning to travel in high season - is the provision of air-conditioning.
