This complex comprises villas of varying sizes, many with their own pools, within reasonable walking distance from the centre of Kalkan.

Standing in an elevated position a little further up the hillside from our ever-popular Diana Apartments, this complex of villas is just a 15 minute walk from the village centre and just 5 minutes further from the colourful harbour. This location makes them particularly popular for families with older children or teenagers, who appreciate having their own villa - and in some cases their own pool - yet also want to be close enough to the centre of Kalkan for its myriad attractions to be easily accessible on foot.

Gradually developed over a number of years, Lycian Villas now comprises around 30 villas of varying sizes, from two-bedroom ones ideal for couples or small families to some with four or five bedrooms for larger groups of friends travelling together.

The original phase of the development consists of eight villas arranged around a decent-size shared swimming pool. Painted in pretty pastel shades, each of these has two bedrooms and a bathroom (with a short bathtub) on its upper floor, and a large living room, a kitchen and a shower room on the lower floor. The kitchens come complete with washing machines and dishwashers, as well as a large fridge-freezer, a hob and a microwave. The lounge and the master bedroom in each of these villas are air-conditioned.

Realising that nowadays, many holidaymakers prefer having their own private swimming pool, Lycian's owners built several additional villas on the land bordering the original complex, and thus benefiting from the same convenient location. Offering a choice of two, three, four or five bedrooms, these villas are air-conditioned throughout, and each has its own small pool, bordered by a terrace where you can enjoy al-fresco meals or simply soak up the rays. The fittings and furnishings are of the same standard as in the original complex, and each villa has at least two bath or shower rooms.

Kalkan's ever-growing popularity with second-home owners means that these days there are quite a few villas with private pools available on the expanding outskirts of the resort, but there are very few within such easy walking distance from the picturesque and atmospheric town centre, making these a sought-after option for those keen to enjoy Kalkan's charms to the full without having to worry about driving back to their accommodation.
