Suite-Hotel Villa Maria

Offering the spaciousness and independence of villa accommodation combined with the services and facilities of a 5-star hotel, the newly-opened Suite-Hotel Villa Maria really does offer the best of both worlds. Perfectly integrated with the surrounding Costa Adeje golf course, the hotel is made up of 78 exclusive villas, beautifully designed in a variety of Canarian styles - from the colourful colonial architecture of the Castillian conquerors, via the local interpretation of art nouveau to the distinctive whitewashed style of Lanzarote. The villas are linked by picturesque walkways and surrounded by landscaped gardens.

Offering a range of sizes with one, two or three bedrooms, all the villas are tastefully decorated and very comfortably furnished. Each has a fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, a living room with satellite TV, individually-controlled air-conditioning units in all the rooms, and en-suite bathrooms with either a bathtub or hydro-massage shower. Arranged on two floors, with the master bedroom on the upper floor, each villa also has a large furnished terrace, with views across the golf course towards the sea. All the three-bedroom villas even boast the luxury of their own private swimming pools; some of the two-bedroom villas have large Jacuzzis on their garden terraces.

All guests can enjoy the use of the two large swimming pools in the centre of the complex, one of which is heated in winter. Surrounded by extensive sun terraces, the pool area also incorporates a children's pool, whilst other facilities for families include a playground and mini-golf. The hotel's public areas are arranged around an elegant "Plaza", where you will find the 24-hour reception, a WiFi area, a TV room, the Plaza Bar and the La Torre Restaurant. A sumptuous buffet breakfast is served from 7 until 11 am, whilst in the evenings you can enjoy an à la carte menu combining authentic Canarian dishes and creative International cuisine in elegant and intimate surroundings, accompanied by an exquisite wine list to satisfy the most demanding pallet.

Sporting enthusiasts are well catered for at the Villa Maria: the hotel has its own gym and squash courts, and can arrange reduced green fees at the adjacent Costa Adeje golf course, as well as assisting with bookings at the island's other golf courses. Just across the road from the hotel you will the professional sports centre "Top Training" with a wide range of facilities including tennis courts; the hotel's reception staff will be happy to make reservations for you.

When you can drag yourself away from the luxurious cocoon of the Suite-Hotel Villa Maria, the laid-back seaside village of La Caleta is just 600 metres away and can be reached on foot in around 10 minutes, although the return is uphill and may therefore take a little longer. Here you will find a few shops for holiday essentials, alongside a cluster of charming, unpretentious restaurants perched above the rocky coastline. The nearest sandy beaches are approximately 2 km away in the upmarket resort of Costa Adeje, where you will also find a much wider range of bars, restaurants, shops and boutiques. Using the included hire car, the Suite-Hotel Villa Maria therefore offers easy access to southern Tenerife's main resort areas, whilst feeling pleasantly removed from their hustle and bustle. For those who prefer not to drive, a car is by no means essential, and we are happy to quote you for the holiday with private airport transfers instead.
