These two detached villas are set amongst the olive trees and tangerine groves of the Bodrum Peninsula, some 14 kilometres from the bustling city of Bodrum itself and just 2 kilometres from the picturesque fishing village of Gumusluk. The villas are situated in the Gumusluk Valley, in quiet and beautiful countryside, on the edge of a rural hamlet, with views to the Aegean Sea and islands.
Villas Oya and Ata are comfortably furnished throughout with spacious living areas, terraces and balconies providing views of the surrounding countryside, mountains and sea. Both villas have private pools and gardens, overlooking fields, olive, tangerine and lemon groves. Their slightly elevated position ensures that even on the hottest of days they benefit from gentle and cooling breezes. Add this to wonderful sunsets and starry skies and you have a tranquil and picturesque setting, perfect for a relaxing and carefree holiday.
Villa Oya sleeps up to 6 people, with two upper floor bedrooms (each opening onto a large terrace) and a third bedroom on the ground floor. The master bedroom upstairs has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom; the other two have twin beds, each served by its own adjacent shower room. On the ground floor there is also a spacious living-dining room, complete with satellite TV, DVD and CD player, and a very well equipped open-plan kitchen with hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The living area opens onto a large shaded terrace, perfect for dining al-fresco, and from here you step onto the lawned garden that surrounds the private swimming pool. To ensure your comfort, whichever part of the season you decide to travel in, all the bedrooms are fitted with air-conditioning/heating.
Villa Ata offers similar accommodation but is slightly larger, thus accommodating up to 7 people. Its upper floor comprises a double bedroom with en suite bathroom and two twin rooms sharing another bathroom, and there is a single bedroom plus shower room on the ground floor. It also boasts a separate utility room.
Both villas offer an excellent base, whether you want simply to relax by the pool, enjoy Gumusluk and the surrounding coastline, explore the inland villages or venture into the hustle and bustle of Bodrum, with its Crusader castle, marina and plethora of shops, bars and cosmopolitan cafes. We have automatically included a hire car in your holiday here to help you make the most of the area, but as the local bus service (dolmus) stops 5 minutes' walk away from the villas, you are not completely car-dependant here, and for those who prefer not to drive whilst on holiday we can quote for transfers instead of car hire.
