All hire cars, for which we act as agents, be they part of our package, prebooked from the UK or arranged through our Representatives in resort, are supplied by reliable companies with local offices so that assistance and support can be effectively provided should you need it. 

The following groups and weekly prices apply to all pre-booked cars collected from the airport or selected accommodation. We regret that it is only possible to arrange car hire for less than a week’s duration once you are in resort and local rates will then apply. 

Should you wish to upgrade a complimentary car included in your holiday price to a higher category, you simply pay the difference between the group included and the group you wish to substitute for it. These upgrades must be made before your travel documents are dispatched, or an administration fee will apply. 

We are unable to confirm a specific vehicle type and the models below are shown for guidance only. When selecting your vehicle group please bear in mind that luggage space is limited in the smaller vehicles and you may need to consider an upgrade to avoid the expense of a taxi to transport your luggage to your accommodation. 

Drivers must be over the minimum age stated and be able to produce a full British driving licence which they have held for at least a year. They must carry their licence and passport whenever they are driving the hire car. We regret that we are unable to provide refunds for pre-booked cars, if drivers are under age or have forgotten their licence. 

Our car hire prices, and our complimentary cars, all include unlimited mileage, all local taxes, Third Party Insurance, Fire, Theft and Accidental damage (unless caused by negligence) to the rental vehicle, maintenance, replacement in the event of breakdown, delivery and collection. 

The prices do not include damage to the tyres, any traffic or parking fines incurred, the petrol deposit (refundable if the vehicle is returned with a full tank), or child seats (payable locally, but please advise at the time of booking if you require one). Personal Accident Insurance is provided by the Cachet Travel Holiday Insurance (if chosen) rather than by the car hire insurance and if you have elected to take alternative cover it is your responsibility to check that their cover is adequate. Although Collision Damage Waiver is included, there is an excess on this (see below), and the car hire company may ask to take a credit card imprint (or refundable cash deposit, if you do not have a credit card) to cover that amount. Alternatively, you can purchase supplementary insurance (“Super Collision Damage Waiver”) to insure yourself against the excess locally. 

We strongly urge you to check the vehicle thoroughly on delivery, in the presence of the car hire agent, and drive with extreme caution especially on any uneven roads.

Car Hire in Lanzarote - prices in £ per week 

Minimum Age: 21 years  
Prices include fully comprehensive insurance and two named drivers. 
Child Seats approximately €2 per day payable locally. Petrol Deposit: €25 payable locally; return car with empty tank.

Car Hire in Tenerife and La Gomera - prices in £ per week 

Minimum Age: 25 Years (21 years subject to additional charge of €7 per day) 
CDW Excess: €680 Groups A, B; €790 Groups C, D. 
Super CDW: €7.00 per day  
Additional Driver charge: €3.40 per driver per day, up to maximum of €34 per rental 
Child Seats: €3.40 per day, up to a maximum of €34 per rental. Petrol deposit €50

Car Hire in La Palma - prices in £ per week 

Minimum Age: 21 years, with licence held for 2 years.
CDW Excess: €250 Groups B & C; €500 Groups D, D1. 
Super CDW: €3.50 per day Groups B & C; €5.50 per day Groups D & D1. 
Additional Driver charge: No charge for one additional named driver. 
Child Seats: €3 per day. Petrol Deposit: €50.

Please note: For cars included and special car hire rates, cars are to be collected and returned to the airport. Transfers are not provided.
