One of the starring roles in the Daily Telegraph ‘foodie’
article was filled by our good friend Alma. Her passion for food, wine and life
in general, not to mention her warm and generous personality has made her
something of a legend with our regular guests.
In June and October she has readily agreed to share some of her excellent Cretan
culinary skills and local insight with guests staying in her villas near
Chania.
During the week she will hold three cookery sessions using
the best of the abundant local ingredients, lead a shopping expedition to the
market and host welcome and farewell dinners washed down with copious amounts of local wine.
Formality is certainly not Alma’s style so participants
should expect not only to gain new skills and friends but also to have a
thoroughly unique and entertaining week.
