For his October tour Ghislain will lead a small group
further inland to experience some of Turkey’s most celebrated attractions.
During the week he will again be able to pass on his special insight and
introduce you to places and people you would not normally discover if left to
your own devices.
You will fly into Dalaman and spend the first night getting
to know you fellow travellers in the luxurious surroundings of Mandarin.
The following morning the adventure will start with a long drive via
Turkey’s scenic Lake District to the hauntingly beautiful Cappadocia region
where you will spend four nights in a comfortable hotel created from the old
cave dwellings. This will allow you time to do justice to exploring the unique
landscapes, villages and architecture and perhaps even take a dawn balloon
flight. On the return trip you will stay overnight in Konya, a typically
Turkish town famous as the home of the Whirling Dervishes.
The final night will be spent in a period hotel in the old
port area of Antalya before returning to Dalaman for your homeward flight.
Further details of this holiday, which can be extended by a
second week stay put week at Mandarin or one of our other properties, are given
in our Information & Prices supplement.
