This small cluster of well-appointed apartments stands in a peaceful residential area within easy driving distance from the bustling town of Puerto de la Cruz

Situated in a very peaceful and sought-after residential area, Villasol is a group of just eight apartments, divided between three attractively designed buildings standing in subtropical gardens. The steep terrain around here means that there are extensive views to be enjoyed from the grounds, both towards the ocean and towards Mount Teide, and whilst the outlook varies between the individual apartments (the upper floor apartments are classed as "Superior" and attract a premium to reflect their better views), the lovingly tended gardens provide an appealing environment to relax and enjoy the tranquillity. The gardens incorporate a small heatable swimming pool, perfect for that morning dip, a refreshing swim after a day's exploring, or simply for relaxing by all day on sunny days.

The apartments themselves are attractively furnished and well maintained. Each has a bedroom (with twin mattresses in a large double frame), a modern bathroom, a living room with satellite TV (limited English-language channels) and a terrace or balcony with patio furniture. The living rooms incorporate open-plan kitchens with two-ring hobs, microwave ovens and fridges, but a complimentary continental breakfast with breads and pastries made by the owner's own bakery is served each morning in the cosy breakfast room.

Santa Ursula is situated approximately 7 km east of Puerto de la Cruz, so all the attractions of this bustling town and resort can easily be reached using the hire car that is automatically included in your holiday at Villasol. But for your day-to-day needs, there is no need to travel even that far, as there are several very well-stocked supermarkets just 800 metres away, and a few local restaurants just a little further (we would recommend using your car, however, as these are up a very steep hill from the apartments). With your hire car, you can easily explore further afield, taking in nearby historic towns such as La Orotava and La Laguna as well as Tenerife's many natural attractions.
