Situated at the start of the beautiful Nightingale Valley, this family-run hotel is a popular choice for walkers, nature-lovers and relaxation-seekers.

This charming and very well-run hotel enjoys a fantastic position amidst vineyards and woodland on the hillside at the start of the beautiful Nightingale Valley, just to the rear of Agios Konstantinos. Whilst this elevated setting makes it unsuitable for those with walking difficulties, it does ensure that every part of the hotel is blessed with truly enchanting views across the lush valley and down to the coast, from the terrace that surrounds the pretty swimming pool via the restaurant and bar to the guest rooms.

With just 35 rooms, the Daphne will appeal to those who value the friendly and informal ambience of a small, family-run establishment. The rooms themselves are simply but attractively furnished, and come complete with en suite bathrooms, hairdryers, direct dial telephones, a small fridge and in the high season benefits from centrally controlled air-conditioning at certain times of the day. Most have a double and a single bed, and each has a large, covered balcony or terrace from which to enjoy the panoramic outlook.

Breakfast is a continental-style buffet, and light snacks are available during the day but the hotel's restaurant is not open for dinner allowing guests the freedom to try out the variety of enticing seafront tavernas down in Agios Konstantinos.

Whilst it would be easy to spend all one's time relaxing and daydreaming by the pool, it would be a shame not to explore the surrounding area. The village of Agios Konstantinos itself is just a 5-10 minute walk away and has a host of delightfully unpretentious tavernas, whilst the walk through the Nightingale Valley up to the hill village of Manolates is a must for anyone reasonably fit. For beach lovers the delightful beaches of Tsambou and Tsamadou, with their crystal clear waters, are just a short bus ride away.

However you choose to spend your days, it is always a pleasure to return to the welcoming atmosphere of the Daphne Hotel, and it therefore comes as no surprise to find that many guests do in fact return year after year.
