For the past few years we have been unable to fulfil requests for villas with private pools that are within walking distance of both the beach and all the facilities of a small resort. Finally, we are able to supply two such villas in the heart of the small south coastal resort of Plakias, an ideal spot for beach lovers holidays and keen explorers alike.
Villa Alkistis is a detached, modern villa with a lawned garden enclosing its thirty metre private pool yet is just a hundred metre stroll from the beach. Inside the villa there is a comfortably furnished living room with an open fireplace and a satellite television and a CD player. The open plan kitchen is well equipped with a full cooker, microwave and dishwasher.
The first double bedroom, with its own balcony is up a flight of just three stairs and has an adjacent bathroom with a bathtub and a washing machine. Up a further flight of stairs are another double and a twin bedroom, which share a bathroom, again with a full-size bathtub. There is a large upper balcony with views of both the village and the surrounding hillsides.
The garden has a number of shady and sheltered areas for guests to enjoy al fresco living and there is a barbecue for lazy nights in when even the short stroll to the village's selection of tavernas seems all too much.
A car is by no means essential here as everything is right on the doorstep but those who wish to explore the wealth of sites the area has to offer may wish to take advantage of the special car hire rates we offer for vehicles collected from the airport.
