Villa Yunus

TurkeyKalkan, Kas and Patara › Kas

A large villa on the popular Cukurbag peninsula, offering practical accommodation for two families travelling together or a group of friends

Situated on the north side of the Cukurbag peninsulas, with picturesque views across the calm waters of the inlet back to the mountainous mainland, this recently built villa offers enough space even for larger families or those taking grandparents or a nanny with them. Nestling amidst similar private properties, Villa Yunus is attractively designed with its partially stone-clad walls, pan-tiled roof, circular tower and curved balconies with wrought-iron balustrades. As the accommodation and pool are spread over four levels, the villa is not suited to those with walking difficulties, but the advantage of this is that the coastal views from the upper-floor balconies are even more spectacular than from the stone-flagged terrace that surrounds the enticing private swimming pool.

The living area on the main floor is open-plan, with a comfortable sitting area with TV, a dining table and chairs, and a well-equipped fitted kitchen with oven, hob, fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster and kettle. In addition to the master bedroom, which has a double bed, an en-suite shower room and a balcony, there are three further bedrooms (another double room, a twin room and an attic room with three single beds) and two family bathrooms. Practically furnished and uncluttered, the accommodation also benefits from air-conditioning.

The centre of Kas is just under 4 km away and can be reached using the local dolmus service, or the hire car that is included in your holiday here. A former sponge-fishing port, Kas retains an authentic atmosphere and boasts a good selection of restaurants, bars and coffee houses, as well as shops for your day-to-day needs. The nearest small beaches are at the base of the peninsula, or you can use your car to visit the picturesque cove of Kaputas between Kas and Kalkan, or the vast sandy beach of Patara just beyond Kalkan.
