With new flights from Stansted, Birmingham and Manchester (in addition to the well-established Gatwick flight), the island of Samos in the north-east Aegean will be easier than ever to reach, and we recommend booking early to secure your preferred accommodation. Using these flights, we can also offer multi-centre holidays combining Samos with its wonderfully uncommercialised neighbour Ikaria and/or the small, sleepy island of Fourni. Holidays to Ikaria, and to our other lesser-known Greek island destinations, Chios and Kythira, can be arranged with flights via Athens from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh, although in some cases an overnight stay in Athens may be required.
As the largest Greek island by far, Crete has direct flights from most UK airports, and offers something for all tastes: bustling Venetian harbour towns, sleepy hill villages, laid-back beach resorts, spectacular mountains and gorges, and a wealth of archaeological sites, ancient monasteries and interesting museums. In fact, so diverse are Crete's attractions that many of our clients choose a fly-drive holiday or a tailor-made multi-centre holiday with transfers in order to experience different aspects of this multi-faceted island.
