Occupying a prime location on Fethiye's waterfront, right opposite the marina and just a 5-minute walk from the start of the entertainment district with its wide selection of bars and restaurants, the Alesta Yacht Hotel is ideally placed for those who wish to fully enjoy the charms of this authentic harbour town. Although not primarily a beach resort, Fethiye also makes a good base from which to visit a range of beaches, such as Calis and Oludeniz, using the public bus network, or take boat trips to the hidden coves in the Twelve Islands that dot the Gulf of Fethiye.

The accommodation at the Alesta Yacht Hotel is comfortable and rather stylish, with neutral contemporary colours complementing the light and airy interiors. There are 52 rooms altogether, with a selection of Standard Rooms, Deluxe Rooms and Family Suites. All are equipped with air-conditioning, TVs with satellite reception (limited English-language channels), minibars, safety deposit boxes and telephones, and hairdryers, bathrobes and slippers are provided in the modern en-suite shower rooms. All rooms have large floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto a narrow French balcony; Standard Rooms offer a choice of inland views or sea views. The Deluxe Rooms have sea views, are larger and have a sitting area with a sofa bed for a third person, whilst the Family Suites consist of a Deluxe Room with an inter-connecting Standard Room and can thus accommodate up to 5 people.

One of the key attractions of staying at the Alesta Yacht Hotel is the complimenary use of the Alesta Beach Club, a serviced shingle beach tucked into one of the picturesque coves around the headland from Fethiye. The boat transfer from the marina in front of the hotel takes around 10 minutes and is free of charge for hotel guests, as is the use of sunloungers and umbrellas.

There is also a small rooftop swimming pool perfect for a refreshing dip after a day's exploring, or you can pamper yourself in the hotel's spa area with sauna, shock pool, Turkish bath and a range of massage and beauty treatments (payable locally). The hotel's restaurant, Alarga, is also situated on the top floor and has a large terrace, so that its expertly prepared dishes all come with a side order of panoramic views across the marina and the Bay of Fethiye.
