The Canary IslandsLa Gomera › Valle Gran Rey

An attractive cluster of couple and family-sized apartments with a good-size swimming pool in a seafront setting close to the harbour

Situated on Valle Gran Rey's seafront, just opposite the small volcanic beach Charco del Conde and just a short stroll from the fishing harbour of Vueltas, this attractively designed complex offers comfortable accommodation for couples and families alike. The apartments are arranged in ascending rows against a small hillside, so that each has a large southeast-facing terrace, most with lateral views towards the valley and the mountains whilst others catch at least a sideways glimpse of the sea.

Tastefully furnished and decorated, the bright and airy apartments come in three sizes: 1-bedroom Apartments have one bedroom with twin beds (arranged side by side), Type A 2-bedroom Apartments have one twin room and one single room, and Type B 2-bedroom Apartments have two bedrooms with twin beds. In addition, each apartment has a spacious living-dining room with a sofa bed and flat-screen TV (limited English-language channels), an open-plan kitchen with a breakfast bar, a large fridge-freezer, a two-ring electric hob and a full-size oven, as well as a modern bathroom. Safety-deposit boxes are available to rent in each apartment, whilst free WiFi is provided in the reception area.

The hilltop garden at the rear of the building incorporates a good-size swimming pool surrounded by a terrace with loungers for sunbathing. From here, you have lovely views of the lower part of the lush Gran Rey valley, and the rugged mountains that surround it.

The nearest mini-markets and other essential shops including a pharmacy are just a couple of minutes' walk away, and you will also find several appealing restaurants and a couple of atmospheric bars close by in the charming backstreets behind the harbour.
